1) An overview of the SBIR program

2) Identifying funding opportunities

3) Developing strong proposals

This workshop will be live streamed remotely, and a SBIR subject matter expert will be onsite to answer questions.

Lead Facilitator: Roland Garton is President & Lead Consultant for Garton Consulting Services, Inc. and TheGrantHelpers.com. Garton has written and advised on scores of SBIR proposals worth several million dollars to 9 of the 11 federal SBIR-granting agencies. He is a SBIR workshop leader and has managed several projects resulting from successful SBIR proposals.

WBDC On-Site Facilitator: Jason Rebello is the Director of the InventIllinois program for the Women’s Business Development Center (WBDC).  In this role he helps small and medium sized businesses understand the importance and potential of utilizing both internal and external innovation strategies in their pursuit of new product or service offerings.  He has experience in SBIR proposal submission and winning SBIR funding.
