Walsh Construction-Legends South A3 Project

Walsh Construction invites you to provide subcontractor proposals for the Legends South A3 project. Walsh requests that all proposal be submitted via SmartBid by noon on August 18, 2022.

The owner for this project is a joint venture between Brinshore, Michaels and Imagine Development.

This project includes

  • One four story new construction wood framed building with 40 units and two 3-story walk-up buildings with 9 and 12 units, respectively.

Forecasted Opportunity

Mortenson Company- Esperanza Brighton Park Health Center (BP2)- South California Ave and West 47th Place, Chicago, IL 

Esperanza Health Centers is pleases to announce the Brighton Park 2 project. The new building will expand Esperanza’s clinical footprint to better serve the community with a 43, 500 SF medical clinic and senior daycare program. The construction budget is anticipated to be $24 million. The scope of work includes, foundations, structure, enclosure, interior construction and finishes, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection systems, excavation and sitework.

This project has a minimum goal of 26% minority business enterprise (MBE) participation and 6% women business enterprise (WBE) participation.

Construction is anticipated to start Fall 2022 and be completed in Fall 2023. The project will be out to bid for interested subcontractors in mid-August 2022.

SACRED Apartments Developer LLC (SACRED) is pleased to announce the development of the property located at 92nd and Burley, Chicago IL 60617. PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR THE CHICAGO HARBOR BREAKWATER REPAIR AND NORTH PIER RESURFACING

This Pre-Solicitation Notice is being issued by the United States Army Corps of Engineers – Chicago District to inform interested/potential contractors of the District’s imminent issue of an Invitation for Bid Package for its construction project entitled, “Chicago Harbor Breakwater Repair and North Pier Resurfacing in Cook County, Chicago Harbor Breakwater and North Pier, Illinois.”

PROJECT INFORMATION: Under the contract, the contractor will be required to drill and grout along 1,000 ft of the Chicago Harbor outer breakwater to stabilize the existing structure. Main scope includes concrete resurfacing along the north pier and additional scope includes repair of a failed slab to the North Basin Wall as well as construction of a retaining wall at the eastside of the pier.

Chicago Department of Aviation – Bid Package #5 – Terminal Landside and Parking Improvements

The project scope of work includes construction of a six (6) level, cast-in-place, post tension parking structure supported by two (2) helical ramps at the ends of the garage for movement between levels. The parking garage will accommodate approximately 1700 vehicles with an additional 700 vehicles in surface parking. The project will include two (2) vehicular bridges, curbside expansion access and modifications to the I-190 on-ramp. This notice of bid opportunity is for the trade packages listed below.

  • Trade Package 12 Mechanical includes all work associated with the installation of the mechanical system for the garage.
  • Trade Package 13 Electrical includes all work associated with the electrical system installation for the garage.
  • Trade Package 14 Plumbing includes all work associated with the plumbing system for the garage.
  • Trade Package 15 Fire Suppression includes the delegated design of the fire suppression system in accordance with NFPA 13, Chicago Building Code and Factory Mutual Loss Prevention and installation of this/these system/systems.
  • Trade Package 16 Metal Panel includes all metal panel, curtainwall, window wall, glazing and glass doors for the garage. Work further includes coordination with all trades for embeds and penetrations and exterior building faced signage.
